"The 'oneness of life and its environment' is a fundamental principle of Buddhism offering boundless hope. In other words, when we change, our environment changes. Through the power of our resolve, we can transform our homes, our workplaces and are communities.
"Therefore, let's set clear goals again this year, chant about how we can achieve them and then take concrete action. In both our lives and in society, let's demonstrate how our human revolution contributes to realising a peaceful and prosperous world based on humanistic ideals.
"Let's also remember to do our best to protect the environment by solidly uniting with others and making effort from where we are right now."
