"In these increasingly anxious and unsettled times, where can you find the light of hope that will enable you to remain undefeated by any difficulty? It resides within you. When you chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, the bright sun of courage rises in your heart.
"Even on cloudy or snowy days, the sun continues to blaze powerfully in the heavens, sending out rays of light. Similarly, even if your hearts are clouded by worries or buffeted by hardships, the important thing is that you keep on shining in your own unique way. The tougher the challenges, the more you can make your inner sun—you're invincible spirit— shine, and brightly and warmly illuminate those around you as well."
