"Writing to a woman disciple, Nichiren Daishonin says: 'The Buddha dwells within our hearts. For example, flint has the potential to produce fire, and gems have intrinsic value' (WND –1, 1137). Everyone is an infinitely precious individual possessing the Buddha nature. Through the Mystic Law, everyone can bring forth the limitless courage, wisdom and compassion of their own innate Buddhahood.
"Therefore, no matter what challenges you face, if you continue chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, you can move everything in a positive direction — in the direction of happiness and victory — and shine in your own true way. Your vibrant progress in your human revolution will bring about a change in those around you, in your circumstances and even in your community and society."
