-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
To all of my dear proud fellow 

Bodhisattvas of the Earth,
selflessly devoting themselves 

with the power of the lion's ferocity*
"for the sake of the nation, 

for the sake of the Law, 

for the sake of others,"**
it is most definite that 

all Buddhas and Buddhist gods 

(the protective forces 

of the universe)
will support our actions.
Striving wholeheartedly together,
let's challenge ourselves 

to the fullest 

to the very last moment

without any regrets,
and let's win a victory 

for both kosen-rufu and our own lives!

*the lion's ferocity - "... the power of the buddhas that has the lion's ferocity, the fierce and greatly forceful power of the buddhas." (The Lotus Sutra, Emerging from the Earth chapter)

"Prayer is the most powerful driving force for realising your dreams. I hope you'll chant for our great shared dream of kosen-rufu, or world peace, and give full expression to your great potential!"
