-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
The discussion meeting
to celebrate the golden autumn
of the Soka Gakkai's founding
is here.
With the spirit of many in body
With the spirit of many in body
but one in mind,
"transcending all differences
"transcending all differences
among themselves
to become as inseparable as
to become as inseparable as
fish and the water
in which they swim,"*
let's further develop
let's further develop
our palace of happiness,
inviting many a new friend
inviting many a new friend
to join us!
*"All disciples and lay supporters of Nichiren should chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo with the spirit of many in body but one in mind, transcending all differences among themselves to become as inseparable as fish and the water in which they swim." - "The Heritage of the
Ultimate Law of Life"

**"We Are Friends in the Castle of Happiness." ... The Lotus Sutra states that the Bodhisattvas of the Earth, which we are, each have "a retinue equal to the sands of sixty thousand Ganges Rivers". Since we are Bodhisattvas of the Earth, we will bring forth many like-minded friends in this world. ... Let us awaken even greater numbers of people around the world to their Buddha nature. And let us joyfully and courageously bring many new friends to join us in the castle of happiness, where we can together shine with wisdom and compassion."

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Suffer what there is to suffer, enjoy what there is to enjoy. Regard both suffering and joy as facts of life, and continue chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, no matter what happens. How could this be anything other than the boundless joy of the Law?"
