-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The Daishonin states,
"Because people propagate it,
both the people and the Law 

are respectworthy."*
Whoever devotes 

and dedicates themselves 

to "establishing the correct

teaching for the 

peace of the land"
Is most certainly 

a respectworthy Buddha.
With such pride in this fact, 

let's achieve 

triumphant victories of great joy!

**"We are ordinary people, humble everyday citizens. For this reason, we may be disparaged and persecuted. But because we spread the supreme and unparalleled Mystic Law, we are certain to succeed in advancing kosen-rufu. The Daishonin also states: 'The Law does not spread by itself: because people propagate it, both the people and the Law are respectworthy'.

Accordingly, those who propagate this supreme Law can lead the most wonderful lives possible.

"When the people all chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, the wind will no longer buffet the branches, and the rain will no longer break the clods of soil. The world will become as it was in the ages of Fu Hsi and Shen Nung.8 In their present existence the people will be freed from misfortune and disasters and learn the art of living long. Realise that the time will come when the truth will be revealed that both the person and the Law are unaging and eternal."
