-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Let us never forget to dedicate ourselves to the sake of truth and justice!
Nichiren Daishonin says: "I feel immeasurable delight (even though I am now
an exile)"*.
True to these words, we, who are forever advancing with the spirit of 'Never
begrudging our bodies or lives',**
can be assured of a life enveloped in immeasurable happiness throughout
eternity.

(* The True Aspect of All Phenomena, WND-1, Page 386. "Because I view
things this way, I feel immeasurable delight even though I am now an
exile." )

(** On Prayer, WND-1, Page 343, "Therefore, they made a vow, saying, "We
care nothing for our bodies or lives but are anxious only for the
unsurpassed way," "Never begrudging our bodies or lives," or "We will preach
this sutra far and wide."")

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"It is said that, if a teacher has a good disciple, both will gain the fruit
of Buddhahood, but if a teacher fosters a bad disciple, both will fall into
hell."

(Flowering and Bearing Grain - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol. 1,
page 909)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"In a diary entry, Russian author Leo Tolstoy (1828-1910) wrote: 'This
ordeal is necessary for me, it's beneficial for me.' He cherished the
conviction that 'one who knows how to endure hardship will never be
unhappy.' I also believe this to be so. It has been true of my own life,
and my mentor, second Soka Gakkai president Josei Toda, said the same
thing."
