-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The Youth Division leaders' meeting
so full of enthusiasm and energy has at last come.*
To all of our youth,
come, gather and from this meeting take the initiative
to achieve kosen-rufu!
And to all of our Future Division members,
my wish is that each and every one of you develop
into great individuals who become like magnificent tall trees!
All the movement towards the Soka Gakkai's Centennial
is the main stage for each one of you
to fulfil your own very unique and special missions on.

*The first nationwide Youth Division leaders meeting, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of both Young Men's and Young Women's Divisions, was held jointly with the 46th Headquarters leaders meeting and the 60th anniversary of the publication of Seikyo Shimbun newspaper on January 8th in Tokyo, Japan.
