-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Our behavior as a human being is itself kosen-rufu.
"Every time I meet that person, my spirits are up-lifted!"
Let's make every effort to become the type of person
who always acts with the utmost of sincerity
and who constantly earns the praise and respect of others.

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Nichiren Daishonin declares: 'If you believe in this [Lotus] sutra, all your desires will be fulfilled in both the present and the future' (WND-1, 750).

"A true sense of fulfillment or satisfaction can't be found in chasing after money or possessions. The highest state of being is the enriched spiritual condition of desiring little and feeling satisfied, free from the control of desires. In other words, true happiness resides in accumulating treasures of the heart.

"The famous Italian architect and author Leon Battista Alberti (1404–72) asserted that nothing is more preferable than inner riches.[1]"

SGI Newsletter No. 8498, The New Human Revolution––Vol. 25: Chap.r 2, Shared Struggle 31, translated 26th April, 2012.
