-- TO MY FRIENDS --
It's acting upon those small and seemingly
  laborious everyday tasks
that we're able to build a glorious history.
So today, too
  let's strive to move ahead
even if it's just a little!
Let's always be trying to fulfil our unique,
  individual responsibilities!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Although I and my disciples may encounter various difficulties, if we do not harbour doubts in our hearts, we will as a matter of course attain Buddhahood."

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Organisational roles in the Soka Gakkai may not seem to be anything extraordinary. However, President Toda used to say that while society tends to be governed by reputation, the realm of Buddhism is governed by the law of cause and effect. No one can escape this strict law that eternally pervades the universe.

"From the perspective of the teachings of Buddhism, those who take the responsibilities of their organisational position as their mission and strive in earnest to fulfil them will definitely attain victory and benefit that will endure throughout the three existences of past, present, and future.

"Those who sincerely devote their lives to working with the Soka Gakkai for kosen-rufu are certain to triumph in the end. This is the conclusion I have reached through remaining steadfast in faith and practice for the sake of kosen-rufu, while overcoming all manner of adversity."
(Speech, 21st August, 2003)
