[SGI-ToMyFriends-Wagatomo] Words of the Week June 12th-19th, 2016, Daily Gosho June 12th + Daily Encouragement June 13th

A translation of President Ikeda's "Words of the Week"
published in the Seikyo Shinbun and more.

June 12th -19th, 2016
-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
All of our hard work and selfless devotion
for the sake of kosen-rufu
definitely becomes golden benefit
and good fortune.
Just as the Daishonin teaches,
"the wise will rejoice,"*
let's joyfully take action
and cheerfully share this Buddhism
and its philosophy with others!
Let's always advance boldly and unyieldingly
no matter what may confront us!

"Something uncommon also occurs when an ordinary person attains Buddhahood. At such a time, the three obstacles and four devils will invariably appear, and the wise will rejoice while the foolish will retreat." - "The Three Obstacles and Four Devils", WND-I, page 637

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Our worldly misdeeds and evil karma may have piled up as high as Mount Sumeru, but when we take faith in this sutra, they will vanish like frost or dew under the sun of the Lotus Sutra."

(Letter to Niike
- WND, Vol. I, page 1026)

Seikyo Shinbun, June 12th, 2016

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"A noble life, lived with the proud satisfaction of having dedicated oneself to the Mystic Law, is certain to inspire others and illuminate the future. An undertaking into which we have poured all our energy and passion will continue to shine on for all time. When we dedicate our lives to kosen-rufu, we can attain a state of happiness that will endure eternally throughout the three existences of past, present, and future."

SGI Newsletter No. 9351, The Buddhism of the Sun—Illuminating the World, [3] "Aspiration for the Buddha Land," Extending Our Soka Network around the World, from the July 2015 issue of the Daibyakurenge, translation released 15th Feb. 2016
