"Mr. Toda also said: 'Kosen-rufu is a struggle of ideas, a struggle of words. It is an undertaking, a great movement, that requires that we write and speak exhaustively, giving our all to getting our message across.'
"Write and speak out tirelessly, do not remain silent, strongly state what needs to be said—that is the way kosen-rufu will spread, Mr. Toda declared.
"…We need to vigorously and stringently refute spurious accusations and clarify the truth. The important thing is not to remain silent, but to set the record straight. Our vibrant, dynamic voices are our ammunition in the struggle for kosen-rufu. They are the "cannons of truth" that bring down the walls of prejudice and misunderstanding.
"I hope you will widely reach out to others and talk to them about our movement and about your beliefs and convictions. The momentum of kosen-rufu soars when our lives genuinely brim with the spirit of 'I love sharing this wonderful philosophy with others!'"
