-- TO MY FRIENDS --
To all of our leaders and those who are in positions of responsibility:
I hope that you will do your utmost to work selflessly and wholeheartedly
for the sake of our precious members!
"You must not spend your lives in vain and regret it for ten thousand years
to come"*.
Never slacken in your efforts to reach out and encourage people!

*Gosho Source - The Problem to be Pondered Night and Day, WND - 1, Page 622.
"In the light of the above points, this shows, my followers, that you had
better cut short your sleep by night and curtail your leisure by day, and
ponder this! You must not spend your lives in vain and regret it for ten
thousand years to come."

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"(Those who put into practise even a phrase or a verse of this sutra are
certain to attain the way, for it is the teaching related to them.) This may
be likened to iron particles drawn to a magnet or dewdrops collecting on a
mirror."

page 80) Selection source: "Yasashi Kyogaku", Seikyo Shimbun, December 23rd,

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"While many religious traditions encourage aspiring for some otherworldly
paradise, the Daishonin teaches that this world, the here and now, is the
true place for carrying out Buddhist practice. He explains that opening the
way to victory amid severe trials and tribulations is itself genuine
Buddhist practice for polishing and forging our lives.

" 'One day's practice in the impure world' could also be said to epitomise a
teaching of transformation that truly leads those living in a defiled age to
happiness. Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is the great Law that enables us to instantly
bring forth within our lives the state of supreme enlightenment of the
Buddha. By transforming our mind or attitude, we can immediately transform
our state of life.

"Because this is an evil age, various problems and difficulties arise in the
course of daily life. It stands to reason, then, that we who choose to
dedicate our lives to a lofty mission will face even more daunting
obstacles. The key, however, is to use these obstacles as a powerful impetus
to earnestly chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and actively challenge ourselves to
overcome the problems we face. Each day that we spend engaged in this manner
is one of life-changing practice, and the continuation of such practice over
time produces the great benefit of attaining Buddhahood in this lifetime."
