---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"This January (2011) marks the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of U.S. President John F. Kennedy (1917-63). Though many difficulties lay before the new administration of the 43-year-old president, in his inaugural address, he pledged: 'But let us begin.' He also concluded his stirring speech by calling out: 'Let us go forth....'

"In his younger days, President Kennedy once wrote that courage is 'the most admirable of human virtues.'

"The courage not to bow to pressure, the courage to stand alone, the courage to maintain one's determination, the courage to look deep into one's heart and confront one's own cowardice and arrogance, the courage to challenge difficulties--those who possess this kind of courage are true victors."
SGI Newsletter No. 8149, OUR BRILLIANT PATH TO VICTORY, A Youthful, Dynamically Developing Organisation, from the Jan. 1st, 2011, issue of the Seikyo Shimbun, translated Jan. 26th, 2011
