Let's warmly & friendly encourage all those students
who are taking school entrance exams.
At the same time, let's be careful to be considerate
and understanding of their families during such times.
Those people (like those who are taking exams,)
who never ever give up on the challenge
will definitely see where their noble missions in life lay
and the path to take.

"The Lotus Sutra describes the Bodhisattvas of the Earth as 'treasures among persons' (LSOC15, 262). Human treasures with boundless potential reside everywhere. Such people are certain to appear in growing numbers in our movement. Prayer is the key to finding and fostering them. We need to chant to the Gohonzon with a sincere and ardent wish to raise them into people who can make wonderful contributions to kosen-rufu.

"In a letter of encouragement to Shijo Kingo, the Daishonin writes: 'I have been ceaselessly praying for your sake to the Lotus Sutra, Shakyamuni Buddha, and the god of the sun, for I am convinced that you are a person who can inherit the soul of the Lotus Sutra' (WND-1, 839). The Daishonin cherished each of his disciples and chanted wholeheartedly for their happiness and welfare. Let's strive sincerely--even with just a fraction of the Daishonin's spirit--to devote ourselves to the happiness of our fellow members, especially the youth.

"All of us have a mission to play an active role for kosen-rufu, bringing forth the power of the Mystic Law in this existence to transform our karma and attain a state of supreme happiness. All of us are Bodhisattvas of the Earth who have chosen to be born in this evil age of the Latter Day of the Law in order to fulfil our vow of kosen-rufu. And each one of us without exception has an incredibly noble mission that is ours and ours alone."
