-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Let's get out and meet people!
Let's talk with others about this Buddhism and its philosophy
in such a sincere way
that it really does strike a chord in their hearts.
Boldly and courageously,
let's plant the seeds of Buddhahood
in as many people's lives as we possibly can!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Could not this illness of your husband's be the Buddha's design, because the Vimalakirti and Nirvana sutras both teach that sick people will surely attain Buddhahood? Illness gives rise to the resolve to attain the way."
(The Good Medicine for All Ills - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol.1, page 937)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"I hope that all of you will become good friends to others by being warm, supportive, and caring, and that you will particularly encourage and support your juniors in faith many times more than the support and encouragement you yourself have received. I hope you will personally work to raise people who 'can inherit the soul of the Lotus Sutra.' Devoting yourself to the happiness of your fellow members in faith is devoting yourself to kosen-rufu and the Buddha."
