"My mentor Josei Toda said: 'The Soka Gakkai is a university without a campus.' You are all students of the "university of Buddhism" that is the SGI, dedicating yourselves to creating peace and happiness.
"Each one of you was born with a unique mission that only you can fulfill. As exemplified by the Lotus Sutra passage, 'where living beings enjoy themselves at ease' (LSOC16, 272), you were born in this world to be happy.
"I hope that all of you without exception will persevere in the 'two ways of practice and study' (WND-1, 386), freely, joyfully, and harmoniously, so that you can lead lives of genuine victory."
