"Reviewing the course of human history, we can see how people have always divided others into allies who will support them, on the one hand, and enemies who must be destroyed, on the other. This grim process of conflict and division has continued unabated. Even today in the 21st century, the tragedy of ethnic and political conflicts—sometimes conducted under the banner of religion—sadly endures.

"Once human beings have fixed ideas or notions, they easily become prisoners to them. That's why it's so important for us to break through the walls in our hearts and return to our shared common ground as human beings, as people who share life on this planet. Through sincere actions and dialogue that promotes mutual understanding, we must together reaffirm the ideal of building a peaceful and happy society.
