--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"If you want to understand the causes that existed in the past, look at the results as they are manifested in the present. And if you want to understand what results will be manifested in the future, look at the causes that exist in the present."
(The Opening of the Eyes - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol. 1, page 279)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"President Mandela wrote the following while in prison: 'Honour belongs to those who never forsake the truth even when things seem dark and grim, who try over and over again, who are never discouraged by insults, humiliation and even defeat.'[1]
"Our world remains in the throes of violent conflict, hunger, a vast disparity in wealth and poverty, human rights violations, environmental destruction and the perils of nuclear weapons, all of which threaten our very survival as a species.
"Yet, I believe that we will be able to see the light at the end of this long, horrific tunnel as long as we do not lose hope, just as President Mandela forged ahead step by step with indomitable resolve while confined in the deep darkness of his cell."
