— TO MY FRIENDS --
The lives of those who selflessly dedicate themselves
to achieving kosen-rufu,
especially in difficult situations,
will be adorned with boundless benefit and good fortune.
For the sake of the Law and for the sake of our friends,
let's advance boldly and courageously!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet."

(On Establishing the Correct Teaching for the Peace of the Land - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol.1, page 17) Selection source: "Kyo no Hosshin", Seikyo Shimbun, Feb 10th, 2014

Feb 10th-16th, 2014
-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
Let's apply what we have learned from
the Writings of Nichiren Daishonin into action
and deeply engrave the teachings in our hearts.
It's through exerting ourselves in the two ways of
practice and study that we can open a definite path to victory.*
Let's continue to advance by chanting and studying
and then putting our faith into action!

*"Exert yourself in the two ways of practice and study. Without practice and study, there can be no Buddhism. You must not only persevere yourself; you must also teach others. Both practice and study arise from faith. Teach others to the best of your ability, even if it is only a single sentence or phrase." - "True Aspect of All Phenomena", WND-I, page 386
