"Sick people will surely attain Buddhahood."*
Challenging the battle against illness actually gives us
the strength to elevate our life condition and attain Buddhahood.
Hardships always give us a chance to open a great path to attaining enlightenment.
Let's win by chanting daimoku like the roar of a lion king.**
*"And could not this illness of your husband's be the Buddha's design, because the Vimalakīrti and Nirvana sutras both teach that sick people will surely attain Buddhahood? Illness gives rise to the resolve to attain the way." - "The Good Medicine for All Ills", WND-I, page 937
