-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
Summer, the best season for
our young successors of the SGI to progress in leaps and bounds!
If we light a light in young people's hearts now,
we ensure a future that forever shines brightly.
By giving them warm and sincere encouragement and support,
let's foster humanity's hopes.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"This is similar to a tarnished mirror that will shine like a jewel when
polished. A mind now clouded by the illusions of the innate darkness of
life is like a tarnished mirror, but when polished, it is sure to become like a clear mirror, reflecting the essential nature of phenomena and the true aspect of reality."

(On Attaining Buddhahood in This Lifetime- The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Volume I, page 4) Selection source: "KYO NO HOSSHIN", Seikyo Shimbun, July 21st, 2014

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The Soka Gakkai spirit is the spirit to share Nichiren Buddhism with others.

"It is vital that we keep looking to the future. The determination of leaders will decide everything. Let's advance with ever greater confidence and conviction, for the sake of our country and the world.

"Nichiren Daishonin declares: 'The wonderful means of truly putting an end to the physical and spiritual obstacles of all living beings is none other than Nam-myoho-renge-kyo' (WND-1, 842).

"There is no hardship we cannot surmount with faith in the Mystic Law. Through chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, open up and expand your lives dynamically and freely."
