— TO MY FRIENDS --
It's because we have problems that
we can strengthen our payers
and can improve our lives,
We practice the Buddhism that teaches
"earthly desires lead to enlightenment."*
Let's make everything a force for our progress!

*earthly desires lead to enlightenment [煩悩即菩提] (Jpn bonnō-soku-bodai) -http://www.nichirenlibrary.org/en/dic/Content/E/4

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"When with our mouths we chant the Mystic Law, our Buddha
nature, being summoned, will invariably emerge. The Buddha
nature of Brahmā and Shakra, being called, will protect us,
and the Buddha nature of the Buddhas and bodhisattvas,
being summoned, will rejoice."

(How Those Initially Aspiring to the Way Can Attain Buddhahood through the Lotus Sutra- The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol. 1, page 887) Selection source: "Kyo no Hosshin", Seikyo Shimbun, July 4th, 2014

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Kosen-rufu is a journey over turbulent seas. Unless we are
fully prepared, we may be swayed the minute something
untoward happens. Please forge a profound sense of
commitment.

"In addition, if you make an error along the way, admit it,
reflect upon your mistake, and keep moving forwards.
It is important that you do not become self-righteous.
Please do not confuse unshakable conviction
and being unreasonable."

"Kosen-rufu will advance when we forge ahead in
our efforts, while striving to win trust in society with
an unwavering sense of commitment,
sound common sense, and perseverance."
