-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Let's continue to tenaciously pour all our efforts into encouraging
our friends and fellow members who are facing hardships,
particularly until they can overcome what it is they are challenging!
It's those deep bonds of trust between fellow members
that serve as the driving force to open up the way to victory!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can
travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the
tall pine can grow to a thousand feet."

(On Establishing the Correct Teaching for the Peace of the Land -
The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol.1, page 17)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Discrediting the just through malicious lies and false rumours has
been an unchanging pattern of persecution throughout human
history. If those who are in the right allow themselves to be
disturbed by such attacks and are prompted to rash action,
they can fall into their opponents' trap and become the
cause of their own undoing.

"As the Daishonin states: 'Though worldly troubles may
arise, never let them disturb you. No one can avoid problems,
not even sages or worthies' (WND-1, 681; 'Happiness in This World').
We must learn to calmly see the essence of things.

"In the letter, 'The Eight Winds,' the Daishonin warns Shijo Kingo:
'You must beware and act cautiously' (WND-1, 794)."
