—— DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ——
"We need to search out and foster new capable people. It's important that we encourage and help them develop their abilities.
"Each member is a noble Bodhisattva of the Earth. Please find their strong points and praise them. Let's ensure that everyone is able to make the most of their unique qualities to contribute to kosen-rufu.
"… please avoid judging others based on your own narrow-minded criteria. More importantly, please don't let personal likes and dislikes influence you. If you only care for those you get along with, truly capable people will not develop.
"First Soka Gakkai president Tsunesaburo Makiguchi compared finding and fostering capable people to 'panning for gold in the sand.'
"Our organisation has created a stream of golden capable people through members taking active part in SGI activities. Indeed, this is the best way to foster capable people."
SGI Newsletter No. 9076, Humanistic Teachings for Victory, Now Is the Time to Create a Steady Stream of Capable People, Finding the Strong Points of Each Individual, from 21st Nov., 2012, issue of the Soka Shimpo, translation released 29th Aug. 2014
