-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Conversation that helps someone to deepen
their understanding and conviction
and makes them feel glad they had the conversation,
gives birth to fresh new "resolve."
Let's lend a patient and sincere ear
to what each person has to say
and give them our warmest and most heartfelt encouragement!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"When a tree has been transplanted, though fierce winds may blow, it

—— DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Bodhisattvas of the Earth appear in the places of their respective missions voluntarily, in accord with their own wish, to encourage and guide to happiness those who are suffering the most, amid the greatest adversity and in the most troubled and corrupt times.

"All Bodhisattvas of the Earth, without exception, possess power and compassion. They can overcome all hardships and obstacles without fail.

"From the time of my youth, I have triumphed over every imaginable form of adversity—illness, financial hardship, business troubles, government oppression, callous betrayal, and irrational persecution.

"By following the path of mentor and disciple, the disciples can "become bluer than the indigo"—that is, go on to surpass their mentor. I am confident, therefore, that you, my young successors, will be able to achieve even more than I have. Unsurpassed honour and victory await you."

SGI Newsletter No. 9083, 7th Soka Gakkai Headquarters Leaders Meeting, Change the World with the True Inherent Power of Bodhisattvas of the Earth! From 7th Sep., 2014, issue of the Seikyo Shimbun, translation released 10th Sep. 2014
