-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The first and foremost thing to do
in order to raise capable successors in faith,
is to take action together.
At the same time it is important to
praise change and development wholeheartedly.
With a warmth that really connects us heart to heart,
let's build indestructible castles of capable and talented individuals
in our local communities!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Those who believe in the Lotus Sutra are as if in winter, but winter always turns to spring."
(Winter Always Turns to Spring - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin,
Vol.1, page 536)
Selection source: "Kyo no Hosshin", Seikyo Shimbun, Sept 24th, 2014

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The Lotus Sutra teaches:
"'There is no safety in the threefold world;
it is like a burning house,
replete with a multitude of sufferings,
truly to be feared.' (LSOC3, 105)
"In the Latter Day of the Law, in particular, when the world is afflicted by all sorts of disasters, natural and man-made, 'even the large-hearted become narrow, and even those who seek the way adopt erroneous views' (WND-1, 845), as the Daishonin writes.
"In such an age, the grassroots effort for dialogue that we are carrying out as SGI members is opening indestructible palaces of hope in the hearts of countless individuals. The power for that effort comes from words of encouragement arising from our prayers and sincere wishes for each person's happiness. In today's society, awash with cruel words that hurt and deceive, alienate and divide, we are engaged in a challenge to bring people together with warmth, genuineness, and overflowing goodwill."
SGI Newsletter No. 9088, Engaging in Joyful Dialogues with Bright Hope and Confidence, from the October 2014 issue of the Daibyakurenge, translation released 18th Sep., 2014
