--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"If all of you nurture the same seeds of Myoho-renge-kyo in your hearts, then you all will be reborn together in the same land of Myoho-renge-kyo. When the three of you are reunited there face to face, how great your joy will be!"

(Reply to the Mother of Ueno

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The French author Romain Rolland (1866–1944), who was born 150 years ago this month (January 2016), called out: 'Be reverent before the dawning day. . . . Be reverent towards each day. Love it, respect it, do not sully it, do not hinder it from coming into flower.'[1]

"By doing gongyo and chanting daimoku every morning, we of the SGI greet each new day with reverence.

"How will we go about creating a golden record of achievement in the year ahead, one that we can look back on and say that we have exerted ourselves to the fullest? In accord with the principle of 'consistency from beginning to end,' the determination we make now, as we prepare to take on new challenges, is the key. How hard we strive this very day makes all the difference.

"What should I accomplish today, a day that will never come again? What is my mission to fulfill? In our daily morning gongyo, let us chant daimoku vigorously, with a strong vow. This is the formula for absolute victory that will put us in perfect rhythm with the great Law of the universe."
