-- TO MY FRIENDS --
What are the situations
that we need to challenge now?
Thorough planning and good communication
is the key to our achieving victory!
Let's be quite clear about
what the focus of our SGI activities are,
and advance together,
towards the goals we have set,
in the same mind!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Though one might point at the earth and miss it, though one might bind up the sky, though the tides might cease to ebb and flow and the sun rise in the west, it could never come about that the prayers of the practitioner of the Lotus Sutra would go unanswered."
("On Prayer" WND-1, page 345)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Mr. Toda declared to the effect: 'Soka Gakkai members are comrades united by a shared vow who were together at the assembly on Eagle Peak; we're a family. This assembly of the distant past transcends the bounds of life and death and continues forever into the future. As Bodhisattvas of the Earth, it is our mission to persevere eternally in advancing the ideal of 'establishing the correct teaching for the peace of the land' here in this suffering-filled saha world and accomplishing worldwide kosen-rufu.'

"Steady efforts for the sake of kosen-rufu, tirelessly pressing forwards one step and then another, will open wide the path to a hope-filled future. By continuing to challenge ourselves in dialogue, summoning our courage and reaching out to share the humanistic principles of Buddhism with another can help that person form a profound connection with Buddhism that will be a cause for their future happiness."

SGI Newsletter No. 9361, 16th Soka Gakkai Headquarters Leaders Meeting, A Life of Persistent Effort Brings Supreme Happiness, from 28th Feb., 2016, issue of the Seikyo Shimbun  translation released 3rd March, 2016
