-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Let's always be thinking:
"What is it that I can do
to help make people feel
happy and at ease?"
And then let's chant everyday,
from the depths of our being,
towards realising it.
Let's become "leaders"
who are trustworthy and sincere
and who are forever brimming with humanity!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"A passage in the Six Pāramitās Sutra says to become the master of your mind rather than let your mind master you."

(Letter to the Brothers
- WND, page 502)

Seikyo Shimbun, March 20th, 2016

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"True enjoyment is feeling a sense of fulfilment in life, and such fulfilment is to be found in confronting and challenging adversity.

"Chanting daimoku intensely in my heart, I crisscrossed Osaka* to spread the joy of Buddhism. I ventured into back alleys to meet and talk with fellow members. I walked everywhere and was constantly on the move. I spoke tirelessly and fervently.

"Having firmly resolved that I would respond to my mentor by winning, I decided to do whatever I could. A disciple's determination to win no matter what and the struggles undertaken by that disciple are what make the impossible possible."
