-- TO MY FRIENDS --
People who clarify their goals each morning,
and then strive to pursue them
throughout the day, are strong.
In the absence of laser-sharp focusing,
it is difficult to bring forth our true potential.
Let's strive in our endeavours
with ever developing faith and practice!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Arouse deep faith, and diligently polish your mirror day and night. How should you polish it? Only by chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo."
(On Attaining Buddhahood in This Lifetime
- WND, Vol. I, page 4)
Selection source: "Kyo no Hosshin,"
Seikyo Shinbun, April 12, 2018

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'On the one hand, knowing that you are in agony (because of illness) grieves me, but on the other I am delighted.'
- From 'On Curing Karmic Disease' (WND – 1, 631).
"On learning that his disciple Ota Jomyo was ill, Nichiren Daishonin offered prayers with sincere empathy. In addition, the Daishonin encouraged him to be happy and see his illness as an opportunity to change poison into medicine.
"Buddhism teaches that health and illness are one and inseparable. When illness strikes, there is no need to be daunted.. By chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo with unwavering determination we can beat back illness in our own lives and those of others. Daimoku has the power to strengthen life force, positively transform negative karma, and foster a life state that can encourage and inspire others who are suffering.
"Together, let's challenge our 'health revolution' with courage each day."
Advancing with the Gosho (2), (6) Challenging Our "Health Revolution" Each Day, From the February 9th, 2018 issue of the Seikyo Newspaper, translation released March 2018.
