-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The Daishonin assures us,
"Those who hear even a single sentence
or phrase of the Lotus Sutra
will attain Buddhahood without fail."*
The benefit from having the opportunity
to hear even a single sentence or phrase
of Buddhism is just so immeasurable.
For the sake of the happiness of our friends,
let's continue to share this Buddhism
with others without ever giving up!
*"The Four Debts of Gratitude" - WND-I, page 42

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"So, when you come of age and take faith in Buddhism, you must first of all think of paying the debt you owe to your father and mother."
(The Four Virtues and the Four Debts of Gratitude
- WND, Vol. 2, page 637)
Selection Source: "Myoji no Gen,"

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'When you visit Shijo Kingo, please have an earnest talk with him. I will write you again in more detail.'
– From 'A Ship to Cross the Sea of Suffering' (WND – 1, 34).
"Talking with our fellow members based on a shared sense of purpose is incredibly important. The frank encouragement we give one another is a vital source of strength for attaining brotherhood in this lifetime. Discussing things in detail and staying in close communication are key to advancing Kosen-rufu.
"Listen to fresh ideas, and don't get caught up in formality. When there are differences of opinion, chant daimoku and unite to resolve them. The warm, supportive spirit of community and friendship found in the Soka Gakkai is a model of human harmony.
"With 'harmony' and 'wisdom' as our mottoes, let's create the greatest possible value so that everyone can freely manifest their potential."
Advancing with the Gosho (2), (8) Discussion and Communication Are Key to Advancing Kosen-rufu. Translated from the February 21st, 2018, issue of the Seikyo Newspaper, translation released March 2018
