-- TO MY FRIENDS --
"Dig beneath your feet,
there you will find a spring."
Stand your ground and work hard
to fulfil your mission where you are now
and achieve results!
By doing so,
the door to eternal happiness and victory
definitely opens!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Therefore, those who become Nichiren's disciples and lay believers should realise the profound karmic relationship they share with him and spread the Lotus Sutra as he does. Being known as a votary of the Lotus Sutra is a bitter, yet unavoidable, destiny."
(Letter to Jakunichi-bō
- WND, Vol. 1, page 994)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"To a certain degree, it is only natural to feel a sense of attachment to a group composed of people with whom one shares common attributes. It is likewise perhaps to be expected that we should feel some apprehension at welcoming people of different national origins into the community we call home. However, we must recognise how such feelings can lead to exclusionist behaviour and human rights violations as feelings of enmity and hostility are externalised in hate speech and other forms of discrimination.
"While increasing our capacity to connect with others, the rise of a post-industrial information society in recent years has also led to a phenomenon where people only associate with those who share the same frame of reference. Among the causes for what is known as the 'filter bubble' are data searches that return information already attuned to the user's preferences, thus obscuring other sources. Gradually, without realising, one is enveloped in an isolating membrane of pre-selected information.
"What is troubling about this phenomenon is the degree to which it can impact a person's understanding of social issues. Even if one actively seeks out information on an issue of particular concern, the content encountered on websites and social media feeds will end up bearing a close resemblance to the views one already holds. In this way, from the outset one is distanced from differing opinions, which never become the object of careful consideration.
"Internet activist Eli Pariser cautions: 'In an age when shared information is the bedrock of shared experience, the filter bubble is a centrifugal force, pulling us apart.' The ability to make good decisions depends on situational awareness and context, and yet, he writes, 'in the filter bubble, you don't get 360 degrees—and you might not get more than one,' warning us of the adverse affects of our restricted outlooks."
Peace Proposal 2018, Towards an Era of Human Rights: Building a People's Movement, A world free from tragedy, released January 2018.
