Let's do our best to express our deep appreciation and utmost respect to
all the deliverers of the Seikyo Shimbun and the other SGI publications,
who are the SGI's uncrowned heroes and heroines!
We are all earnestly praying that you will stay healthy and
your delivery route will always be perfectly safe.
Let's all together make ever-victorious advancement, by
promoting the Seikyo Shimbun and all our other SGI publications for
the sake of justice and the truth!
* On April 20th, 1951, the first issue of the Seikyo
Shimbun was published .
**"This newspaper will be at the vanguard of the kosen-rufu movement and the
spearhead for the Soka Gakkai. It must excel, in every sense of the word, in
verbal combat. It must be powerful enough to influence Japan's journalism.
... Because ours is a newspaper for kosen-rufu, it has to be of unequalled
accuracy. It needs to be full of originality and convincing to ordinary
people. In so far as we are honest and correct, the readers will come to
