-- TO MY FRIENDS --
It's the time when students are starting a new school year
or graduating students are starting to look for work. *
Let's always make a sincere effort to look out for and help
those people who are just starting out or who are moving on.
Such a kind and caring attitude towards others
goes a long way in helping people to understand what our faith is all about!

* Japan and a few other countries start a new school year from April and next year's graduating students also start the long journey of looking for a job.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"If in a single moment of life we exhaust the pains and trials of millions of kalpas, then instant after instant there will arise in us the three Buddha bodies with which we are eternally endowed. Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is just such a 'diligent' practice."
(Ongi kuden - Gosho Zenshu, page 790, The Record of the Orally Transmitted Teachings, page 214)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"When there are strained relationships between co-leaders, the organisation is often lacking in communication.

"Of course there may be cases in which, even after discussing a matter, you still don't fully agree, but some decision has to be made in order to carry out the activity. At such times, it's important to cheerfully accept the general consensus, even if you have a difference of opinion, and work together harmoniously.

"The worst thing is to wait until the time to take action arrives and then say, 'Well, I opposed this from the beginning.' Such behaviour erodes organisational unity from within."
