The people we have the chance to meet in life are a treasure.
The friends we have are our immense good fortune.
Let's always try to keep old friendships warm
and at the same time try to build new ones, wherever we go.
Let's make each day a truly fruitful and meaningful one!

"Nichiren Daishonin writes: `All phenomena are manifestations of the Buddhist Law' (WND-2, 841). As practitioners of Nichiren Buddhism, it is our mission to demonstrate in society the benefit of our Buddhist practice. For that reason, I hope each of you, based on faith in the Mystic Law, will challenge yourselves even more than others to study, work hard, and exercise ingenuity in your respective areas."
