-- TO MY FRIENDS --
We cannot hold our environment responsible for what our situation is.
It's the change from within that's important.
It's winning over our selves that's important.
By having faith in the fact that we can indeed do our human revolution
let's muster up the courage to shatter those walls that are holding us back!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"(There is no true happiness for human beings other than chanting
Nam-myoho-renge-kyo ...) Suffer what there is to suffer, enjoy what
there is to enjoy. Regard both suffering and joy as facts of life, and
continue chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, no matter what happens. (How
could this be anything other than the boundless joy of the Law?")

—— DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"I'd like to take this occasion to reaffirm with you the profound significance of the 'lion's roar,' which is the essence of Nichiren Buddhism. The Daishonin declares:
"'Each of you should summon up the courage of a lion king and never succumb to threats from anyone. The lion king fears no other beast, nor do its cubs. Slanderers are like barking foxes, but Nichiren's followers are like roaring lions.' (WND-1, 997)
"We, the mentors and disciples of Soka, are truly 'Nichiren's followers.' For we alone have experienced and fought against unparalleled slander and abuse, hatred and jealousy, as well as onslaughts by the three obstacles and four devils and the three powerful enemies—all of which the Lotus Sutra predicts will befall its practitioners in this evil age of the Latter Day of the Law.
"Why have we been able to triumph so boldly and dauntlessly over all? Because, just as the Daishonin says, we have 'summoned up the courage of a lion king' and forged ahead as 'roaring lions.' This path leading to the victory of truth and justice will never change."
