-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Let's take every possible measure to protect ourselves from
natural disasters like heavy rain, landslides, strong gusts of wind, etc..
I am earnestly praying that all of our fellow members and families,
especially those who deliver our publications,
remain absolutely safe at all times.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Myō means to revive, that is, to return to life."

(The Daimoku of the Lotus Sutra - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol. 1, page 149)
Selection source: Kyo no Hosshin, Seikyo Shimbun, June 6th, 2014

—— DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Capable successors aren't raised overnight. It takes a lot of time and assiduous effort. However, the only way to open the eternal future of kosen-rufu is to foster people, and there is no undertaking nobler than this….

"The way to share Buddhism with others and give guidance in faith, too, can only be learnt through striving alongside senior members and following their example. Also, in doing such activities, we can gain fresh inspiration in faith. If we lose this tradition, the flow of fostering capable individuals will come to a halt.

"Whether sharing Buddhism with others or giving guidance in faith, the ways of carrying out activities cannot be learnt by simply memorising a set method. They can only be learnt through actual practise, and very naturally incorporating them in our lives."
