-- TO MY FRIENDS --
When we're facing hardship,
let's chant daimoku with the spirit
to take on any challenge!
And when things are going smoothly,
let's chant daimoku with the spirit of appreciation!
No matter what happens,
let's continue to unceasingly practise.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Have him read this letter again and again, and listen attentively.."

—— DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ——
"The important thing in practising Buddhism is to focus on the present
and the future—in other words, this present lifetime and the next.

"It's important not to be constrained by the past, but to treasure the
present moment and look forward to the future. This is the way of life
of practitioners of Nichiren Buddhism.

"Therefore, instead of priding ourselves on our past achievements alone
and becoming intoxicated by former glories, we should ask ourselves what
we're doing right now and what actions we're taking for the future.

"Faith is a lifelong endeavour. The outcome of a person's life, too,
isn't known until the end. We were born into this world to fulfill our
mission from time without beginning. Let us lead victorious lives of
which we can say, 'I have dedicated myself to my mission for kosen-rufu
to the very end!''"
