The momentum and flow of our discussion meeting
depends on how well planned
and prepared the meeting is.
Let's take the initiative in visiting our members
and inspiring them with warm encouragement.
Inviting, at the same time, as many guests as possible,
let's make our meeting the best value-creating gathering!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Those who believe in the Lotus Sutra are as if in winter, but winter always turns to spring."

(Winter Always Turns to Spring - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol. I, page 536)
Selection source: "Kyo no Hosshin", Seikyo Shimbun, September 13th, 2015

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"We need to shine with the light of capable individuals.

"Nichiren Daishonin declares: 'If the Law that one embraces is supreme, then the person who embraces it must accordingly be foremost among all others' (WND-1, 61). The Daishonin opened the way for all who embrace the supreme teaching of the Mystic Law to bring the supreme state of life to shine forth brightly, just as they are, in their own unique way, in accord with the principle of "cherry, plum, peach, and damson."

"In accord with this teaching, the Soka Gakkai has fostered and sent into the world capable, value-creating individuals who can employ the wisdom of the Mystic Law to resolve the sufferings of birth, ageing, sickness, and death and the challenges of the real world."

SGI Newsletter No. 9291, 13th Soka Gakkai Headquarters Leaders Meeting, Making Respect for the Dignity of Life the Spirit of the Age, from 6th Sep., 2015, issue of the Seikyo Shimbun translation released 8th Sep. 2015.
