-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The benefits that accrue from both talking about
our Buddhist philosophy as well as hearing about it,
are absolutely certain.
Let's speak with confidence
as we share our philosophy with others
and widely expand our solidarity of happiness!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"The truth of three thousand realms in a single moment of life too has its origins in this single word 'belief' or 'faith,' and it is through this single word 'belief' that the Buddhas of the three existences of past, present, and future attained their enlightenment. This word 'belief' is a sharp sword that cuts off fundamental darkness or ignorance."

(Chapter Four: Belief and Understanding
-The Record of the Orally Transmitted Teachings,
page 54)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The Japanese word for 'dynamic development,' yakushin, is made up of two characters. The first character, yaku, has two components—one meaning 'foot' or 'leg,' and the other derives from a depiction of a bird flapping its wings as it prepares to fly.

"It's important that you plant your feet firmly on the ground, without fretting or comparing yourself to others, and persevere in making steady, continued efforts. Then, look up into the vast skies of hope, spread the wings of your limitless potential, and take flight.

"Those who are always aiming for greater heights and advancing, even if it's a little at a time, are victors."

SGI Newsletter No. 9297, Spread Your Wings towards the Future, [10] The Towering Summits of Nepal, from 1st Jan., 2015, issue of the Mirai [Future] Journal  translation released Sep. 17th, 2015
