-- TO MY FRIENDS --
If we ourselves change,
then the other person's mind and heart
will change as well.
The transformation of our own mindset
is what can fundamentally change everything,
no matter what you might be challenging right now.
Let's start by chanting daimoku
with a strong and profound determination!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Therefore, one should by all means persist in preaching the Lotus Sutra and causing them to hear it. Those who put their faith in it will surely attain Buddhahood, while those who slander it will establish a "poison-drum relationship" with it and will likewise attain Buddhahood."

(How Those Initially Aspiring to the Way
Can Attain Buddhahood through the Lotus Sutra
- The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin Vol 1, page 882)

Seikyo Shimbun, Sep. 20th, 2015

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Who is it that supports the Soka Gakkai and is advancing kosen-rufu?

"Mr. Toda was crystal clear about this: 'Those who energetically devote themselves to sharing Buddhism with others are the mainstay and supporting pillar of the Soka Gakkai, irrespective of their social status or years of practice.'

"Those exerting themselves in our frontline organisations for kosen-rufu are the most respectworthy. They are striving valiantly amid the greatest challenges. Nichiren Daishonin would surely praise their tremendous efforts. This was Mr. Toda's firm conviction.

"He taught us to always show the greatest respect, appreciation, and care to the supremely noble members who are actively sharing Buddhism with others, engaged in Soka Gakkai activities, and working hard within the organisation."

SGI Newsletter No. 9299, Noble Champions Striving on the Front Lines of Kosen-rufu, from 15th Sep., 2015, issue of the Seikyo Shimbun, translation released 18th Sep., 2015
