-- TO MY FRIENDS --
It's important that we always try to wholeheartedly appreciate
and applaud the efforts of those who are striving sincerely
in their efforts to expand the development of kosen-rufu!
The feeling of joy from being appreciated is a source of nourishment
that sets off a chain reaction
The feeling of joy from being appreciated is a source of nourishment
that sets off a chain reaction
leading to exponential growth and advancement!
Let's make great strides
Let's make great strides
through our harmonious interactions!

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"In the Daishonin's day, given the calamitous situation in society, people keenly felt that the evil age of the Latter Day of the Law had arrived. Thinking the world was doomed, they were filled with despair and resignation.
"But in stark contrast to this, precisely because it was the evil age of the Latter Day of the Law, the Daishonin resolved that now was the time to stand up and reveal the highest, most powerful teaching for bringing benefit to all people, the time to widely propagate the Mystic Law. This was his stance as the Buddha of the Latter Day of the Law.
"The Bodhisattvas of the Earth do not choose to courageously initiate their struggle in the Latter Day of the Law based on whether they will be successful or not, but because it is the necessary and right thing to do. They stand up as individuals because the darker and more perilous the age, the more it becomes time for a powerful philosophy to shine forth like the sun, dispelling the gloom of despair.
"This is what Mr. Makiguchi did. It is what Mr. Toda did. We, too, have stood up resolutely. That is the spirit of the SGI.
"And our members, Bodhisattvas of the Earth throughout Japan and around the world, have gone on to sow the seeds of peace in people's hearts and build an era of humanism."
