-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
Let's put our very best into looking after and raising
our newly joined members.
Each and every one of them is indeed a "treasured person."
By studying and challenging to achieve our goals together,
let's open up a path towards leading victorious lives!
This is how to expand our joy and happiness.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"What can we say, then, of persons who are devoting themselves to Buddhism? Surely they should not forget the debts of gratitude they owe to their parents, their teachers, and their country."

(On Repaying Debts of Gratitude
- The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin,
Vol. I, page 690)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The American poet Walt (1819–92) declared: 'Each of us allow'd the eternal purports of the earth, / Each of us here as divinely as any is here.'[1]

"The teaching of the Mystic Law enables each of us to make our infinitely precious and noble life shine its brightest. Let us share the Mystic Law with as many young people across the globe as we can.

"Mr. Toda cherished the wish to elevate the life state of all humanity to the highest possible level. He taught us the joy of dedicating our lives to the grand adventure of kosen-rufu, to compassionately spreading the Daishonin's Buddhism to people everywhere.

"Let us continue to make steadfast efforts to achieve victory in our own lives and to realise world peace. And let us further expand our network of friendship and shared aspiration, creating an ever-growing groundswell of human revolution for the happiness of ourselves and others.

"Let's make "Forwards!" our motto."

SGI Newsletter No. 9304, The Song of Human Victory, from 28th Aug., 2015, issue of the Seikyo Shimbun, translation released 8th Oct. 2015, Let's Make "Forwards!" Our Motto.
