-- TO MY FRIENDS --
We're getting into that chilly time of year.
I am sincerely praying that all of our Seikyo Shimbun
and other SGI publication deliverers stay healthy and accident free.
May you all, our great noble uncrowned heroes and heroines,
be absolutely happy and victorious!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Regard your service to your lord as the practice of the Lotus Sutra. This is what is meant by 'No worldly affairs of life or work are ever contrary to the true reality.'"

(Reply to a Believer
- The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin,
Volume I, page 905)

Seikyo Shimbun, October 23rd, 2015

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The Daishonin writes of the devil king warring with the votary of the Lotus Sutra 'to stop him from taking possession of and to wrest away from him this impure land' (WND-2, 465), vividly conveying to us how the forces of good and evil are engaged in a pitched battle for supremacy.

"When the forces of good grow in strength, the forces of evil also grow stronger to obstruct them. The moment we think that we've done enough, the forces of evil counterattack. This is the reality of our struggle for kosen-rufu and for attaining Buddhahood in this lifetime.

"Mr. Toda declared resolutely: 'In the great struggle of kosen-rufu, we cannot allow ourselves to be defeated. We cannot afford to be intimidated. If we are beaten, humanity will be forever enveloped in darkness. The Soka Gakkai, with its noble mission of leading people to happiness, must never be vanquished!'"
