on the collective efforts of everyone.
It's important that leaders try to become

the type of "leader" who looks after
and is considerate of his or her fellow members
and who gives full play to each person's
personality and character
and can use their talents and abilities,
to the fullest, in our activities.
Let's be victorious by chanting daimoku and using our wisdom!

"'So long as a practitioner of the Lotus Sutra remains unwavering in faith, free of all false alliances, entrusting himself wholeheartedly to the Lotus Sutra and practising in accordance with the Buddha's golden words, he will without fail be able to prevent disaster and prolong his life in this present existence, to say nothing of in the life to come. Splendid recompense will be his, and he will fulfil his great vow to broadly proclaim and propagate the Lotus Sutra [the great vow for kosen-rufu].'

This is the great conviction of Nichiren Daishonin, the Buddha of the Latter Day of the Law. One person's experience in faith can ignite hope and courage in the hearts of others, many of whom will go on to gain their own wonderful experiences in faith, leading to a brilliant blossoming of happiness and peace. This inspiring ripple effect of happiness spreading from one person to another is actual proof of the steady realisation of kosen-rufu."
