-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
The Daishonin encourages us,
"Myō means to revive, that is, to return to life."*
Practising this Buddhism enables us
to draw forth infinite life force.
Let's single-mindedly chant daimoku
and break through whatever obstacles
we might be facing now!
With the type of momentum as if we were reborn,
let's make a fresh start towards a new era!

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Even now many conflicts continue around the world, and the signs of an 'age of quarrels and disputes' are intensifying. Therefore, let us read the following passage from 'The Selection of the Time' with renewed determination:
"When I, Nichiren, first took faith in the Lotus Sutra, I was like a single drop of water or a single particle of dust in all the country of Japan. But later, when two people, three people, ten people, and eventually a hundred, a thousand, ten thousand, and a million people come to recite the Lotus Sutra [Nam-myoho-renge-kyo] and transmit it to others, then they will form a Mount Sumeru of perfect enlightenment, an ocean of great nirvana. Seek no other path by which to attain Buddhahood! (WND-1, 580)

"A steadily growing current of respect for the dignity of life begins from the great human revolution of a single individual."
