-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The Daishonin encourages us in his writings,
"Life is limited; we must not begrudge it.
(What we should ultimately aspire to is the Buddha land.)"*
Let's exert ourselves with every possible effort
at this very moment,
which will never come again, and be victorious!
Let's leave no kind of regrets behind.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Bodhisattva Never Disparaging of old said that all people have the Buddha nature and that, if they embrace the Lotus Sutra, they will never fail to attain Buddhahood. He further stated that to slight a person is to slight the Buddha himself. Thus, his practice was to revere all people."
(The Fourteen Slanders
- The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol. I, page 756)

----DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Life means learning as long as one lives. And life is always what we make it,...we are never too old to make a fresh start, and we don't need a formal education to do so.
"Through self-discipline, we develop self-reliance. This is undoubtedly the key to playing an active role in life to the very end."
