-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
Another way of possibly explaining what "Soka" is
is "boundless hope."
We as SGI members are indeed leading a proud and noble life
spreading the world's foremost life philosophy far and wide.
Let's hold the type of discussion meetings,
that brim over with the Soka founding spirit,
where everyone feels happy and inspired
and everyone even feels like dancing for joy!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Even when encountering the problems of everyday life, one must consult with others, and how much more is this true when attempting to understand the profound principles of Buddhism. How can one hope to grasp them easily by oneself?"

(Letter to Renjo - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Volume II, page 7)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The Buddhist scriptures teach us that even if we lose our hands, we have our feet; even if we lose our feet, we have our eyes; even if we lose our eyes, we have our voice; even if we lose our voice, we have our life.[1] With that resolve, we must spread Buddhism as long as we live. This is the spirit of a true Buddhist."

SGI Newsletter No. 9302, The Wisdom for Creating Happiness and Peace, Part 2: Human Revolution, Chapter 13: "You Will Grow Younger, and Your Good Fortune Will Accumulate," 13.5 Making an Art of Life, from the September 2015 issue of the Daibyakurenge, translation released 2nd Oct. 2015
