-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
The voices of students
who carry out their missions
as Bodhisattvas of the Earth
are certain to be the driving force
that rocks the era.
All of our young men and women students,
courageously and confidently
devote yourselves to achieving kosen-rufu!
Let's expand our network of solidarity
for peace!

*Some 500 students gathered for the inaugural meeting of the student
division under second Soka Gakkai President Josei Toda on June 30,
1957.

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"All people without exception embody the principle of the 'mutual possession of the Ten Worlds.' If we make this truth our guide when interacting with others, it will never occur to us to abandon anyone or deny their humanity for any reason.

"Fundamentally, all people are deserving of respect; each individual is precious and irreplaceable.

"The American poet Walt Whitman (1819-92) called out to this 'individual': 'The whole theory of the universe is directed unerringly to one single individual—namely to You.'*

"Whoever you may be, you are a noble, precious being. You are the central point upon which the entire universe is focused, the poet declares."

The Buddhism of the Sun—Illuminating the World, (29) A Religion of Human Revolution—Part 9, Everyone Embodies the "Mutual Possession of the Ten Worlds," September 2017, Daibyaku-renge, translation released May, 2018
